“Embodying Your Archetypes”

I AM long overdue to write a blog post on “This Gay Man’s Life…” about Spirituality in the Gay Male Community. In the meantime, I present this blog post to you about one of the wonderful workshops led by Raymond L. Rigolioso (also known as Ray). To say that I enjoyed this workshop is an understatement. To say that I continue to benefit from it, actually, is also an understatement. Enjoy, and be proud!

This Is Who I AM

When I wrote my recent post, “Interludes: Spring to Summer,” I had stated that I felt as though I was forgetting about other posts.

Well, now I remembered.  Although not necessarily part of a series, I promised myself (and others) that I would write more posts about my life as a Gay Man and my life as a Witch.  This particular post has to do with my life as a Gay Man.

Yesterday, Sunday, June 23, 2013, 4-6PM, I had the honor and pleasure of participating in a “Gay Men of Wisdom” Workshop entitled “Embodying Your Archetypes.”

I first heard of Raymond L. Rigolioso (also known as Ray) and the “Gay Men of Wisdom” Web site, via his advertisement on Facebook.  Although I have only participated in a few of the programs, I have thoroughly enjoyed the ones in which I have participated and look forward to more.

Renewing Your Gay Card

I highly recommend rereading this; I devoured it the first time, have no idea who Mr. Elliot is, and have no inclination to find out, simply because the post was super funny! Although I think I need to reread it, simply because I want to make sure my Gay Card is fully up-to-date!

I'm Filled with Useless Information

Good afternoon, Mr. Elliot,

It was brought to my attention that you would like to renew both your straight and gay cards this year? Now while that is certainly all fine and good, may I recommend merely renewing your gay card, where you will be upgraded to the Gold Level? It says here that you grew up listening to musicals and know the words to “The Ladies Who Lunch” in your sleep. With the Gold Level Gay Card, you will get exclusive benefits like the occasional hookup in West Hollywood, someone throwing shade at you for no particular reason, lots of women clamoring for your advice on fashion, and reserved tickets for the next two Meryl Streep movies.

However, due to the fact that your Bronze Level Straight Card is still active, you’re unable to upgrade your Gay Card just yet. It seems that you haven’t been utilizing your Straight Card…

6 Days and Much LOVE…

Lesbians, my fellow Gay Men, Transgendered Folks, Bisexuals, Gender Benders, and our straight allies, too: it is my pleasure to transcribe this Email that I received from THE Rev. Yolanda, Cosmic Creatrix and Sacred Star of “Reverend Yolanda’s Old Time Gospel Hour.”

I received this Email today, Monday, August 25, 2014, at approximately 10:01AM (and how Auspicious for a New Moon, it is!).

Here we go…

“A beautiful step forward.

Thanks for all you have done in the past to support me and my endeavors.  We have 6 days to go and $1800 to raise our Kickstarter campaign.  If you could repost the link and encourage YOUR peeps to contribute-even $5 or $10 – it would be so helpful.  This money is being raised to cover distribution costs to major outlets like Netflix, HBO, and Film Festivals across the country.

We are making waves and have already raised most of the necessary funds.  MANY of YOU have already contributed and I thank you so very much.  This project moves us forward in the conversation of LGBTQ! Equality in all areas of the country.  Watch the trailer and help us spread the good news.

Thanks my friends.  I appreciate YOU!”

Rev. Yolanda

I have had the honor and pleasure of not only seeing Rev. Yolanda perform, several times, but also having participated in her Webinar Course with her husband, the wonderful Rev. Glen, “Your Passion, Your Treasure.”

Rev. Yolanda does so much for so many, and I invite you to contribute what you can to support her endeavors.

Before I close, I wish to acknowledge my newest blog follower, “praisethelorne.”  I have been a fan of his WordPress blog, “Hot Heebs: Celebrating the Sexy Men of Israel.”  As if I ever need to be Re-Minded that Israeli men are sexy!  Makes me want to buy a yamaka and almost makes me want to buy a jar of pickled herring, but I digress.

If you need some Vitamin “H,” I highly recommend you get your recommended daily dosage by visiting

In the meantime, thank you for honoring Rev. Yolanda and what she does, thank you for honoring who you are and what you do, and thank you for honoring who I AM and what I do, too.

Rev. Yolanda, looking FABULOUS, as she makes Peace and Love and Music.
